Throughout high school and into college, I have always had my future career on my mind. Gaining experience in the fashion industry through work and internships has always been important to me. Recently, Chaz Pitts-Kyser contacted me about possibly reviewing this book on my blog. I accepted and found Careeranista to be very interesting and helpful. The book covers the job search process, how to look professional, work-life balance, and other great topics. Even if you are still in high school or college, I would definitely recommend this book.

Mara Hoffman Sample Sale Finds
Yesterday I went to the Mara Hoffman sample sale in Los Angeles. Not only was this the designer's first sample sale in Los Angeles, Hoffman was present at her sample sale and made sure everything ran smoothly. The sale was full of dresses, tops, shorts, and hundreds of swimsuits all at great prices. Check out my finds below!

BCBG 25 Year Retrospective Exhibit
Today I got the chance to tour the BCBG 25 Year Retrospective exhibit. The exhibit was set up in the BCBG corporate headquarters just outside of Los Angeles. One of the prominent features was a timeline highlighting what BCBG has accomplished in the last twenty five years. They also had a display featuring the design process for one of their Spring 2014 looks. Another great part was a display of looks that had actually walked the runway in New York Fashion Week. They also had a display of looks that had been worn by celebrities on the red carpet. Also featured were displays for Hervé Leger and BCBGeneration.
